You are now able to complete the certification renewal process entirely online. You can enter and keep track of your continuing education unit (CEU) credits, and fill out the renewal application, all on a password-protected, secure site. Tutorials on our website will show you how to work in this system, and will answer any questions you might have. View details.
Exception: Certifications that cannot be renewed online include NAFED (FE, FK, FN) and most UST certifications (except for the UI program).
NOTE TO ALL RENEWAL CANDIDATES: Effective February 1, 2009, after six (6) years of inactive status from the expiration date, certifications will expire and shall require successful completion of the current certification examination.

Many agencies and organizations, including ICC, mandate accumulation of continuing education units, learning units or health safety and welfare credit to maintain certifications, licenses or membership. Earning your CEUs to maintain your certifications is easier than ever!

State CEU Recognition Information
ICC submits requests for continuing education recognition for ICC education to applicable approving bodies. As new offerings are developed, requests for continuing education recognition are submitted and information is updated upon receiving notification of recognition from the specific agency/organization. Online CEU Tracking and Certification Renewal Applications
ICC has introduced two new modules to make candidates' renewal an easier and quicker process, and to support ICC's continuing efforts to be as "green" as possible. The capability of renewing online means less paperwork and quicker processing of your renewal.
To complete your renewal online:
- Complete the CEUs required for your certification(s), found in the Renewal Bulletin.
- Log in to the Renewal module - here you can:
- Enter CEU information
- Complete your renewal application
- Enter payment information to finalize your application
If you choose not to submit your renewal application online, request a paper application to be submitted through U.S. postal mail or via fax. Allow four to six weeks for processing of your paper application.
Please note: Starting January 1, 2016, paper applications will incur an additional $20.00 fee per application for processing.
