DescriptionThis seminar explores the detailed provisions related to accessible means of egress systems as required by Section 1007. Defined as a continuous and unobstructed way of egress travel from any accessible point in a building or facility to a public way, one or more accessible means of egress must also comply with the applicable provisions of ICC A117.1. The relationship of Section 1007 to the requirements of the ADA Standard for Accessible Design is also addressed.
