Description
This intensive three day seminar covers the requirements of the 2009 International Residential Code regarding fire sprinkler systems for one- and two-family dwellings and townhomes. This course is based on the ICC publication Residential Fire Sprinkler Systems:  Design, Installation and Code Administration.  Each participant will receive a copy of this book and work through in-depth reviews of fire sprinkler types and characteristics, location and installation of fire sprinklers, and piping materials and installation applicable to residential fire sprinkler system design, plan review, and inspection. This advanced level seminar will assist code officials, contractors and designers comply with the requirements for residential fire sprinkler system installation.  This course can also be offered in a three day condensed format.
