Improving Hydrogen Safety & Technology Recognition in the International Codes. ICC works collaboratively with the DOE's Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Technologies Program, focusing on the safe use of hydrogen as a fuel in motor vehicle-related fixed facilities. Corporate Consulting Resume

The Contracts and Consulting business unit primarily targets federal, state and regional programs of strategic importance to ICC and dedicated to improving building safety. Among other initiatives, the ICC has provided targeted support to the following activities of strategic importance to ICC, yet managed by Federal agency offices such as:

    Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy—Improving the energy efficiency of our nation's building stock and accelerating the development and market introduction of fixed facility hydrogen infrastructure in the I-Codes

    Office of Science &Technology—Addressing fixed facility construction issues generated by the threat of terrorism and outreach to building professionals against vectors for chemical/biological attack in fixed facilities

    Office of Emergency Preparedness & Response—Enhancing preparedness and minimizing loss of life or destruction of property damage from natural disasters
  • U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD)
    • Office of Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity—Promoting fair housing compliance through adoption and enforcement of safe harbor codes and standards
    • Office of Regulatory Affairs & Manufactured Housing—Updating the Federal Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards (FMHCSS) installation, inspection and enforcement program
    • Office of Policy Development & Research—Addressing barriers to innovation in housing and communicating priority housing issues to the building construction community
