ICC/ANSI A117.1-2008 Second Public Comments Draft
The Accredited Standards Committee A117 on Architectural Features and Site Design of Public Buildings and Residential Structures for Persons with Disabilities has held 3 meetings to develop the First Public Comments Draft of ICC/ANSI A117.1-2008, Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities, dated February 2008.
The First Public Comments Draft was made available for public comment in February 2008 and received over 400 comments. The A117 Accredited Standards Committee considered these comments during their fourth meeting held April 28-May 1, 2008, which resulted in several substantive changes to the draft standard. These changes have been compiled in this Second Public Comments Draft dated May 2008.
Public comments are requested only on the strike-out/underline portions of the Second Public Comments Draft. Portions of ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 edition and the First Public Comment Draft not shown in the second draft standard have not changed and are not subject to public comment.
