A Message from Past President Anne vonWeller
Support the Fowler Memorial Scholarship Fund
The AIA-ICC Bob Fowler Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in memory
of the man who did so much for our nation's building industry. To benefit the
scholarship fund, a raffle is being held this year for a beautiful 2005 Harley-Davidson
Dyna Low Rider motorcycle similar to Bob's.
The drawing will be held Sept. 27 during the ICC Annual Conference and the
winner will be announced during the Annual Banquet the following evening. The
$25 contribution per ticket is tax deductible and you do not need to be present
to win. Only 3,000 tickets will be sold so the more you buy, the better your chances
of winning.
As an extra bonus, those whose ticket orders are postmarked before Aug. 15
will also be eligible to win a leather motorcycle jacket. So please purchase your
ticket today from your local chapter or e-mail Raffle Coordinator Ron
Nickson for other options.
The goal for ICC Chapters is to sell at least 10 tickets. I ask each chapter
leader to take the initiative to follow through and see that a minimum of 10 tickets
are purchased by your Chapter or Chapter members. Please offer your support to
the fund to honor a great man and to help sustain a wonderful cause. Someone in
your Chapter could win a fabulous bike!
Finally, thanks to the National Multi Housing Council, the National Apartment
Association, the Edison Electric Institute, the American Gas Association and the
Building Owners and Managers Association for their support and participation in
this worthwhile endeavor.
