Code
Development
Who can submit a code change?
The I-Codes are published every three years (2000, 2003,
2006, etc). There are two-18 month cycles of code development
between editions where proposed code changes are considered.
Anyone may submit a proposed code change. The first cycle
of code changes are typically due in mid/late March of the
year the edition comes out (i.e. for the 2006/2007 cycle,
the deadline was March 24, 2006). The second cycle of code
changes are typically due in mid/late August in the year
following the first cycle (i.e. for the 2007/2008 cycle,
the deadline is August 20, 2007). The cycle then repeats
with the first cycle of code changes due in mid/late March/2009.
To determine the exact deadline date, please view Codes
Development for the posting of the respective ICC Code
Development Schedule.

ICC
Campus
I want to practice for a certification exam. Is the 2006 version available?
ICC Certification Exams have changed to the 2006 editions of the codes as of January 1, 2007. 2006 Certification Examination Practice Courses are offered and are being continually added.
For a listing of on-line practice courses go to: www.ICCcampus.org.
I want to get my CEU's for certification renewal. How many
CEUs are the on-line courses worth?
At www.ICCcampus.org,
in the Online Catalog, each of the "Course
Descriptions" there is listed an "Expected Completion
Time". Those hours translate into CEU's (i.e., a 5
hour course = 0.5 CEU credit).
The completion times listed in the Course Descriptions
refer to ICC certification renewals. If you need credit
for a State certification renewal, you can find a list of
the States accepted courses and their CEU
value here.
How do I register for an on-line course?
You must first create an account on the www.ICCcampus.org
and create your own username and password. Within that form
will be the Membership information you'll want to enter
to receive the member discount pricing. We also have a "How
to Enroll" link on the www.ICCcampus.org
down the left column that explains the registration procedure.
How do I get my CEU's or certificate of completion once
I complete a course on-line?
Once you complete a course you will receive an automated
e-mail congratulating you on completion of the course. The
e-mail will direct you how to request a Certificate of Completion
and how CEU's are submitted to the appropriate State or
Agency. If the course is taken for the sole purpose of renewing
an ICC certification, you need only fill in your renewal
form which accompanies the course. You can also print your
Transcript from the www.ICCcampus.org
to send in with the certification renewal application.
Logo

Membership
Who do I contact about my membership?
Membership is easy in that we have Member Care Reps in
the three ICC District offices. They are your first point
of contact for all general membership questions. Call 1-888-ICC-SAFE
(422-7233), ext. 33804 and you will be connected to the
Member Care Rep for your area.
Why can't I order online?
All current, active members of ICC should be able to order
through our product store. If you are having problems logging
in, first check the Zip Code. You should be using the same
Zip Code that ICC has on record in your account. For instance,
if you have a nine-digit zip code on record, you must use
all nine digits when you log in. If you are still having
problems, contact a Member Care Rep at 1-888-ICC-SAFE (422-7233),
ext. 33804.
Is my certification number my member number?
No. Just because you are ICC certified does not mean you
are automatically an ICC member. You must join ICC. Keep
in mind there is a special Certified Member category for
$75 available for all who hold an ICC certification. Most
members will have a certification number and a separate
member number.
Why can't I join as an Associate member?
Associate memberships are available to employees of departments,
agencies or jurisdictions which are currently ICC Governmental
Members. Governmental Members get one member number and
one magazine subscription. A Governmental Member can name
Voting Member Representatives, but these people are not
members in their own right. If you work for a Governmental
Member and wish to have your own member number and magazine
subscription, an Association Membership is a reasonably-priced
alternative ($35). Contact a Member Care Rep at 1-888-ICC-SAFE
(422-7233), ext. 33804 for details.
