How can I search for products?
What should I be typing in the search box? What is a boolean search?
I know the item numbers I need. Where can I enter them all at once?
I can't find a very specific product I'm seeking.
There's no place to enter shirt sizes. Where can I specify that information in my order?

How can I search for products?

You can click on the "Find Products" button near the top of the screen. (Click to go there now) Or you can look through the Store Map, which gives you an eagle's eye view of every category and subcategory in the entire store. (Click to go there now)

What should I be typing in the search box? What is a boolean search?

The rules are as follows:

"And" searches are the default. You can specify an "And" search by just entering words. You can also use the word "And" or the Ampersand "&" character.
  Examples:
    inspection electrical
    inspection and electrical
    inspection & electrical

"Or" searches may be accomplished by either using the word "or" to separate two terms, or by using the vertical bar character "|".
  Examples:
    codes or standards
    codes | standards

Wildcards - "*" may be used only at the end of a word, by using the asterisk "*" character.
  Examples:
    electric* (Which would return items that have "electric" or "electrical" or "electricity")

Parenthesis - "( )" may be used to group terms if you like.
  Example:
    (Fuel and Gas) or IFGC

"Quotation Marks" may be used to search for word combinations in a certain order.
  Example:
    "solar energy"

Other rules:
- Punctuation is ignored
- Words are not case-sensitive; uppercase and lowercase return the same results.
- To use the words "and" or "or" literally, without implying a boolean operator, use a slash in front of them. ie: "fences /and decks"
- Wildcards used at the beginning of a word will be ignored.

I know the item numbers I need. Where can I enter them all at once?

We have created a page for just this purpose. If you know the item numbers that you wish to purchase, go to the Blank Order Form. You can enter dozens of items at once, and have them loaded into your shopping cart in one easy step. When you're done selecting items, simply proceed to the checkout as usual.

I can't find a very specific product I'm seeking.

Use the product store search, which is available on the left side of the page. Search for a word or words from the title or the product's catalog number. If you still can't find it, and are sure that it should be available, call our toll-free Customer Support number, 1-800-786-4452, between 8am and 7pm (CT). Remember that inventory changes constantly, so it's possible that we no longer offer the item.

There's no place to enter shirt sizes. Where can I specify that information in my order?

Go to your Shopping Cart page. Just below the list of items you've ordered, you'll see a comment box where you can enter any sizing information, or any other specifics about your order.
