Why do I have to log-in again?
In the continuing effort to provide you with world-class services, we have made an upgrade that will make your International Code Council website experience more efficient and provide you with added value as a Member.
In December 2007, we made a change in some member-only areas of the Code Council website. The first time you visit one of these areas you will need to use a new login and password to access the site, which will then be your new login for those areas. The instructions on how to do that are listed below along with diagrams to assist you.
A new login will be in effect for the Online Member Directory, the User Profile Maintenance Page and Membership Renewal. Other areas of the site (the store, the job board, the bulletin board) will not be affected. We are making these changes as part of a software upgrade, and will work to streamline them in the future.
If you are an Individual Member
(Certified Member, Professional Member, Associate Member, Retired Member, etc.), or an Organizational Member (Corporate Member, Governmental Member or Governmental Member Representative), the first time you sign-on you will be asked to use your email address on file (as your Login Name) as well as the ZIP code of the primary address (as the Password). Once you are logged in you will then be asked to pick a new password to secure future logins. Organizational memberships may have multiple unique users.
Your current login to use the Code Council Online Product Store will not change. Also, there will be no change to the job posting or the Online Renewal Update login screens.
