2007-08 Committee Appointments
 ICC/AIA Ad Hoc Committee
Scope: From time to time the ICC will provide special
attention to a strategic partner or other organizations, in
order to fully explore opportunities. Currently there are
a number of areas of special interest the President and CEO
of both organizations have identified. These areas of interest
include; advancing code curriculum into schools of architecture,
equipping architectural schools with current ICC codes and
standards, identifying areas of cooperation in the area of
green building, joint publications, and support for improving
the public awareness of the code official as part of the integrated
construction team.
To further explore these and other opportunities, the president
recommends the appointment of three ICC board members to meet
as necessary with the designated members of the AIA. The President
and CEO shall serve as an ex-officio member of the committee.
