2004 Codes Forum—An
Education Conference
The education program at conference offered a comprehensive
education program, 34 seminars over two days, to develop
attendees code knowledge and earn CEUs and LUs. More than
1,300 participants discovered valuable solutions to their
most critical challenges in the code profession and obtained
the tools needed to improve their performance.
Those completing the education sessions earned CEUs from
ICC, the AIA and the numerous states that recognize ICC
as a CEU/LU provider. The education track was divided
into technical and administrative sessions.
Technical sessions addressed specific topics within the
I-Codes while administrative sessions related to the administration
of the codes and covered topics including effective allocation
of resources, common management challenges and legal issues.
The professional interest track identified opportunities
and resources for professionals to be attentive to changes
in the code enforcement industry and to be progressive
in their careers.
Education program attendees were able to choose from more
than 34 different educational sessions.
The well-attended Cracker Barrel featured 70 roundtable
discussion topics. |
