Jerry Herzick, Building Official for the City of Lodi, retired
as of December 29 after 34 years working for the county and
city development departments. In 1983, Herzick was president
of the Yosemite Chapter and later served as president
of the County Building Officials Association of California.
He also served as chairman of the California Building Officials'
(CALBO) Building Standards Committee. In addition, Herzick
received CALBO's President's Award in 1987, and was inducted
into the chapter's Hall of Fame in 1992.
