International Code Council Vice President
Steve Shapiro swore in new officers at the Pennsylvania
Building Officials Conference Annual Conference in
Camp Hill on October 19. Pictured (L-R) are Shapiro, President
Richard Barton, 1st Vice President Eric Weiss, Corresponding
Secretary Shawn Forrest, Recording Secretary David Knox,
Treasurer David Ross, Immediate Past President James Matscherz
and Director Robert Reilley. (Not present was 2nd Vice
President Paul Purtell.) In addition to swearing in the
officers at the banquet, Shapiro addressed the group,
updating them on Council activities, new Council Board
members and support products for the 2006 codes.
