Announcing New Chapter Benefit for Regional Chapters
The Code Council recognizes that communication at the Regional Chapter level is not an easy task, especially when trying to reach consensus across multiple states and among multiple chapters. Opportunities for Regional leadership to meet face-to-face are far and few between.
With that in mind, the Code Council is offering free conference calling services to its Regional Chapters. Regional Chapters have now been officially chartered in Regions III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X. Regional Chapters that have yet to be formed are Regions I, II, XI and XII. Each region will be furnished with its own conferencing account to use for chapter conference calls. Regional Chapter presidents will be contacted by the Code Council's Chapter Relations department this month with the details. New regions in the formation stages may also take advantage of this benefit by contacting the Chapter Relations department.
"Our Regions leaders have worked tirelessly and put in countless hours of personal time to make the regions concept a reality. If we want our regions to be successful and to stay active, we need to assist them as much as possible," said Chapter Relations Vice President Laura Scott. "It is our hope this benefit will make it easier for existing regions to communicate and non-existent regions to form."
