The Virginia Building and Code Officials Association (VBCOA) held its Annual Meeting on October 20-23 at the Virginia Beach Resort, which had record attendance of over 1,000 members. The Code Council was represented by Board President Steve Shapiro, Board member Adolf Zubia, Government Relations Senior Vice President Sara Yerkes and Government Relations Senior Advisor Dave Conover. The chapter elected its new 2007-2008 Board of Directors who were installed by Zubia during the event.
