The Southeastern Association of Fire Chiefs (SEAFC) held its first-ever Chapter Education Benefit day in Sandy Springs, Georgia, after being approved for chapter status by the Code Council in May 2007. Attended by fire officials from across the southeast, the event was a huge success for the chapter.

MGIA Presents Awards during Annual Business Meeting
The Middle Georgia Inspectors Association (MGIA) held its Annual Business Meeting and Training Session in October 2007. Awards Committee Chairman Jim Robinson presented Executive Secretary Deborah Hamlin an award for her exceptional service and overall performance promoting the MGIA.
