NMCBO Presents Code Books to University of New Mexico
Carmine Raia, President of New Mexico Conference of Building Officials (NMCBO), and Dave Nichols, Code Council Government Relations Regional Manager, presented a complete set of 2006 Code Council code books to the University of New Mexico (UNM), Fine Arts Library, Architecture Collection on December 13.

Colorado Chapter Holds Annual
Business Meeting
The Colorado Chapter held its Annual Business Meeting on December 5-7 at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. In attendance was Code Council Member Services Senior Vice President Mike Armstrong, Chapter Relations Vice President Laura Scott, and Government Relations Regional Manager Justin Wiley. New officers installed during the conference included President Steve Byer; First Vice President Stephen Kanipe; Second Vice President Shauna Mozingo; Secretary Tim Pate; Treasurer Rick Mendez; Past President Patrick Buckley; and Directors Gil Rossmiller, Will Birchfield, Keith Peetz, Mike Salazar and David Vaughn.
Past President J.D. Potter of Pueblo Regional received the chapter's highest award, the Beryl Wallace Award. The President's Award went to Tim Pate, City and County of Broomfield. Honorary chapter memberships were extended to Dan Nickle (retired from the City of Lakewood), Wally Prebis, Tom Thompson (Sunrise Engineering) and Pete Tyree (City of Lone Tree).
