Regional Manager Dave Nichols attended the Southern Nevada
Chapter Board and Installation Banquet on January 19-20
in Las Vegas, Nevada. The board meeting was hosted by Lynn
at the Clark County Development Services office. The banquet
was held on Saturday at the Panevino Ristorante and was attended
by 80 chapter members and guests. Bailey and Zubia each addressed
the chapter during the evening program.

Code Council Visits California Chapters
Following the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC)
unanimous decision to adopt the International Codes, Code
Council representatives took a week-long tour in California
on February12-16. While there, they met with California
Building Officials (CALBO), the Citrus Belt Chapter,
Coachella Valley Chapter, East Bay Chapter,
Los Angeles Basin Chapter, Monterey Bay Chapter,
Orange Empire Chapter, Peninsula
Chapter, Sacramento Valley Association of Building
Officials, Southern California Fire Prevention Officers
Association and the Ventura Chapter. Council representatives
returned on March 12-16 to attend CALBO's Annual Meeting in
Sacramento and the California Fire Prevention Officers' Fire
Prevention Institute Workshop in Santa Ynez. Pictured here,
