Chapter Benefit Day Now Totally Free
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better—it does! Yes, it’s true. Another enhancement to the Chapter Education Benefit (CEB) day has been made. Now, everyone attending the Chapter Education Benefit day will receive complimentary instructional materials! The net result is one totally free day of training for every eligible chapter, annually.
Previous enhancements to the program earlier this year offered complimentary instructional materials to Code Council members, including employees of ICC Governmental and Corporate members. While this was a truly great benefit, it may have put a burden on chapters by requiring them to take additional steps to identify and register Council members versus non-members. “The Board and staff realize that our chapter volunteers have enough to do and that chapter benefits are only helpful if they are easy to use,” said Laura Scott, Vice President of Chapter Relations. “Now, chapters will receive free materials for everyone who attends the CEB day and completes the Course Roster.”
“The chapters are really excited about the newly enhanced benefit,” said Patty Bond, Chapter Programs Coordinator. The following are recent responses from chapters.

In addition, the Board amended the Council Policy on Chapters (CP #10-04) to reflect this benefit enhancement. To schedule your CEB day, contact your state’s Chapter Seminar Coordinator.
