CABO recently presented an ICC update to Federal agencies
and committees with an interest in building codes and standards.
On December 5, 1997, CABO presented the overview of building
codes and standards and the ICC to the Interagency Committee
on Standards Policy at a meeting hosted by the Consumer Products
Safety Commission.
On December 12, 1997, the National Institute of Standards
and Technology convened a meeting of the Construction and Building
Subcommittee that included a representative of the White House
Science and Technology Policy. CABO presented an update of ICC
activities. A similar presentation will be given to the staff
of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
