The Design Professional Institute with New York City Amendments is the principal learning event for those ready to acquire the technical skills necessary to be proficient in the New York City Construction Code. New York City adopted the International Building Code, a model code developed by the International Code Council, and modified it to reflect New York City’s particular needs and conditions.
