When Disaster Strikes Institutes provides participants with skills, knowledge, and tools to help them become a Disaster Response Inspector. Participants will learn the ICC Disaster Response Process, which will enable them to respond to a disaster site prepared to interface with the onsite command structure and become a resource in identifying unsafe buildings and uninhabitable structures. Throughout this interactive course, participants will have the opportunity to practice skills and receive practical information and tools that can be used at the disaster site. Each participant will receive an emergency preparedness kit with appropriate contents for a disaster response inspector, including a basic first aid kit, disposable camera, and training tools. Directions on how to customize the kit to meet their specific needs will be included.
Continuing Education
Attend this ICC institute and earn ICC CEUs, AIA Learning Units (LUs) and Health Safety and Welfare credit (HSW)*
While this ICC Institute does not specifically prepare individuals for an ICC certification examination, it does serve as an excellent opportunity to earn CEUs towards renewing any ICC Certification or preparation for career advancement.

All cancellation requests must be received in writing in order to receive a refund. Refunds are subject to a processing fee. There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations received one calendar week prior to the scheduled institute.
