Registration
Attend the ICC Residential Institute and
- Learn from nationally recognized code enforcement educators
how to perform effective and efficient residential building,
mechanical, plumbing and electrical inspections in accordance
with the 2006 International Residential Code (IRC).
- Receive answers to your code questions, discuss emerging
code enforcement issues and challenges specific to residential
inspections. You'll be able to interact with professional
instructors, gain valuable insight, share experiences and
network with peers.
- Receive comprehensive and up-to-date resource manuals
developed exclusively by ICC to reference during the event
and after the event back on the job.
- Learn and earn CEUs/LUs/HSW credit.
Continuing Education
Attend this ICC institute and earn ICC CEUs, AIA Learning
Units (LUs) and Health Safety and Welfare credit (HSW)*.
While this ICC institute does not specifically prepare individuals
for the ICC Residential Building Inspector, Residential Mechanical
Inspector and Residential Plumbing Inspector exams, it does
serve as an excellent opportunity to earn CEUs towards renewing
any ICC Certification or preparation for career advancement.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be received in writing in
order to receive a refund. Refunds are subject to a processing
fee. There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations received one
calendar week prior to the scheduled symposium.
If you must cancel, International Code Council must be notified 14 or more calendar days prior to the scheduled seminar date in order for you to receive a full refund. Cancellations made fewer than 14 days prior to seminar date are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. International Code Council reserves the right to cancel any seminar having insufficient registrations. If that occurs, all prepaid fees will be refunded in full. International Code Council cannot be responsible for any losses resulting from the cancellation of a seminar.

Instructor for Days 1 & 2
John M. Gibson, Jr., M.C.P., C.B.O., C.P.C.A., C.F.I.
John is a Technical Advisor and Instructor for the International Code Council (ICC). A certified Master Code Professional, he has forty (40) other certifications, including thirty-three (33) from the ICC. Having earned a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Delaware, he has also studied Architecture at Georgia Tech and completed courses in Emergency Management and Fire Prevention at the National Emergency Training Center.
Formerly the Director of the Department of Permits and Inspections for Frederick County Maryland, he has served on the Board of Directors for BOCA International, Inc., the ICC Evaluations Services (ICC-ES) Board of Directors, the ICC Code Correlating Committee, Maryland's Governor's Smart Code Strategy Group, Chaired the ICC Board for International Professional Standards and is a Past President of the Maryland Building Officials Association.
He currently teaches administrative, building code and residential code courses and is an online instructor for Red Rocks Community College, Lakewood CO.

Instructor for Day 3
Roger Rotundo
Roger Rotundo has worked in the mechanical and plumbing industries for more than 30 years. 15 years ago, Roger went to work for the City Of Phoenix as a commercial plumbing and mechanical inspector. He, currently, supervises the residential inspectors for the City. Roger has been involved with code groups on a national level for ICC, IAPMO, UL and NFPA. He was a member of the NFPA 96 Committee working with the Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations for the 2004 code cycle. He served as member on the IRC Plumbing and Mechanical Code Committee. He was chairman of the UMC Mechanical Code Committee for the 2003 and 2006 code cycles. He served as chairman of the IAPMO Education committee that produced the Illustrated Training Manuals and Study Guides for the 2006 code books. Roger has taught plumbing and mechanical code classes for PHCC and apprentice programs for 14 years and helped revise the national plumbing apprentice program for the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
