ICC Senior Staff Engineer Beth Tubbs, PE, FSFPE, spoke about the ICC codes in relation to the deadly London Grenfell high-rise fire. She spoke at the NYC Fire Safety Directors Association annual joint meeting with the Society of Fire Protection Engineers on Jan. 9, 2018. She covered the Code Council’s recent activities, including updates about the Fire Code Action Committee, ICC participation with the Inter-Jurisdictional Regulatory Collaboration Committee, and communication with major jurisdictions and the media on exterior wall cladding systems.
