Mike Pfeiffer is the senior vice president of technical services at the International Code Council. In his role, he oversees the Codes and Standards as well as the Architectural and Engineering Services Departments.
Prior to his coming to the Code Council, Pfeiffer was the lead structural design engineer for Black & Veatch. He also worked for Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. (BOCA), one of the legacy organizations of ICC. During his tenure, Pfeiffer worked up the ranks from staff engineer to Vice President.
Pfeiffer is a registered professional engineer in the state of Kansas and has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois. He also has a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
