I agree with Mike.. either post on non-structural, or in your regions for state input.. we don''t need another forum to hash out local issues..

State accessibility codes vary throughout the county but are based upon a common theme, the ADA. Some places use ICC/ANSI A117.1, some use ADAAG (or a variation), Volume this, Title that, and the list goes on and on. Let''s leave it as is so it does not become like the Building Code Discussion Group.

Building and Residential Codes -- Non-Structural Issues
Discuss issues related to all non-structural aspects of building construction. This would include the administration of the code, inspections, occupancy issues, special uses, types of construction, fire resistance topics, means of egress and accessibility issues to name a few.

You are not talking about another "local" board are you?
In accordance with the Fair Warning Act, forgot the year. Notice: In Dallas, TX you can hire a hit for $500.00, plus travel expenses.
Please, no more Boards. Most Board members do not meet code anyway. The have too many holes in thier headers. Ya''ll have a great day.
The less you know, the easier your job is; and, my job is way too easy.
