Approaching the deadline - don't forget to get those applications in by January 10.  This is a great one for ICC members who are interested in bringing rainwater harvesting into the mainstream to make sure that it can be done in a safe way that is consistent with the codes.

The development of a new ANSI Standard for Rainwater Collection Systems has been announced, and a call for applicants to serve on the Standards Development Committee is open.

The new standard will address potable and nonpotable rainwater collection and conveyance systems and is entitled, Standard for Rainwater Collection System Design and Installation. ICC has filed several PINS with ANSI regarding rainwater systems and components that were announced in June, 2010 and April, 2011 and is now moving ahead with standard development.

Any and all applications to serve on the committee are welcome, and must be received by January 10, 2013.
