I.C.C. Reinforced Concrete Certification covers most epoxy bolt inspection work.  American Concrete Institute   (www.concrete.org) has a Epoxy Certification.

Pavel,

I'm a B1 building contractor, a residential inspector,  and a commercial inspector.  I had to hire someone to inspect an epoxy installation.

I average about two epoxy inspections a week.

Structural Concrete is the cert you need.

If you work for an engineering firm, then they should have an engineer that should be able to tell you where to take such a test.  My hunch is that you are talking about some type of material testing (ASTM standard) and again, the responsible engineer should point you in the right direction.  I don't know of any epoxy inspector test.

Hi, Pavel -

ICC does not currently offer a certification specific to epoxy inspection, although there may be other entities that do. Per chapter 17 of the International Building Code, the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) is the individual responsible for determining your qualifications to perform this type of inspection. I'd suggest you speak with the AHJ, who may do oral interviews or review other documentation in lieu of a certification.

Best of luck -

I currently work for a structural engineering firm and they have requested i get certified as a epoxy inspector. I have called icc reguarding what test i have to take and they simply replied with "we cannot tell you what test to take." Can anyone help me with this? If i take the B1 residential inspector  test will i be able to conduct epoxy inspections?
