SUMMARY:Webinar: Advancing Consensus Based Solutions to Clean Energy
DESCRIPTION:Join the International Code Council’s (ICC’s) Sustainability Membership Council and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) for an educational webinar about the work of the Sustainable Energy Action Committee (SEAC) and the Sustainability Membership Council. SEAC is a U.S Department of Energy funded program that provides a national forum to collaboratively identify and find solutions to issues that affect the installation and use of sustainable energy systems (solar PV\, energy storage\, electric vehicle charging infrastructure\, etc.) SEAC is led by a steering committee comprising some of the leading organizations working on renewable energy and related codes and standards. \nThis webinar will introduce the role SEAC plays in advancing consensus based solutions to clean energy. Speakers will focus on this year’s achievements from SEAC’s different working groups. The webinar will also highlight the program’s website—which houses a variety of resources on different current clean energy topics—and ICC’s involvement in SEAC.
