SUMMARY:2021 IRC Significant Changes (Online Live)
DESCRIPTION:This class reviews and analyzes selected significant changes from the 2018 IRC to the 2021 IRC. It familiarizes building officials\, fire officials\, plans examiners\, inspectors and design professionals with many of the significant changes in the 2021 IRC. It assists code users in identifying the specific code changes that have occurred\, and more importantly\, understanding the reason behind the change. Changes to building\, energy\, mechanical\, fuel gas\, plumbing and electrical requirements are discussed. Finally\, the seminar focuses on those code changes selected due to their frequency of application\, special significance or change in application. This course uses the Significant Changes to the International Residential Code 2021 Edition as its basis. The goal of Significant Changes to the International Residential Code® 2021 Edition is to familiarize building officials\, fire officials\, plans examiners\, inspectors\, design professionals\, contractors\, and others in the construction industry with many of the important changes in the 2021 International Residential Code® (IRC®).
