ANSI World Standards Week 2021 (Deferred)
May 17, 2022 - May 21, 2022
Mark Your Calendar: ANSI Announces 2022 Dates for World Standards Week
In case you missed it: World Standards Week 2022 will take place October 10-14, 2022, in-person in Washington, DC. Due to continuing health and safety concerns, the larger celebratory events originally scheduled for World Standards Week 2021 will take place in-person in Washington, DC, on May 17-20, 2022.
In direct response to ANSI members’ responses to a recent WSW survey revealing continued uncertainties about organizational travel budgets and personal health and safety, ANSI has decided to take a unique approach to World Standards Week 2021, splitting the events across fall 2021 and spring 2022 to ensure safe and engaging events amid COVID-19. The full schedule is below.
The World Standards Week 2021 events listed on the website below will be held virtually on October 25-29, 2021. When possible they will include greater use of video, virtual networking rooms, and more two-way dialogue between presenters and attendees to foster engagement.
The larger, celebratory events originally scheduled for World Standards Week 2021 will take place in-person on May 17-20, 2022. These events include the ANSI Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony honoring the 2020-2021 awardees, an issue-focused conference, and the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day with the theme, Standards for Sustainable Development Goals.
