DESCRIPTION:This multi-part series provides an overview of the 2021 International Residential Code (IRC) structural provisions for engineers. With a focus on wood construction\, the course addresses gravity and lateral loads on residential structures. Prescriptive solutions for floor\, roof\, and wall systems are described to help engineers understand where engineering is required.
