DESCRIPTION:This web seminar will provide step-by-step hand calculations for the design of a typical two-way flat slab that is commonly used for a multitude of building applications ranging from parking\, hotel\, office\, and podium type structures. The topics of slab thickness\, equivalent loads\, flexural stresses\, flexural strength\, minimum code requirements and punching shear will be addressed.
