DESCRIPTION:UL Solutions is hosting a 2-day Smart Building Summit on October 4th and 5th of this year.  We are inviting owners and operators of large building portfolios\, architects\, building industry consultants\, technology solution providers\, OEMs\, industry influencers\, leaders from codes and standards agencies\, and insurance company leaders in addition to some UL experts and executives. We are anticipating between 75 and 100 total participants from leading organizations and companies. \nThe building industry is poised to undergo some major transformation to meet the opportunities and challenges presented by climate change and ESG considerations\, electrification and energy transition\, technology shifts\, digitization\, AI\, demographic changes in building occupants\, aging and shrinking workforce servicing the building industry\, and increasing complexity in building operations. Our intent for this event is to bring together the various stakeholder communities involved with the industry to deliberate about these topics\, share insights and best practices\, and build a collective to pull the future forward.
