SUMMARY:Design of Steel Deck Diaphragms
DESCRIPTION:This seminar will cover the design of bare steel deck and concrete-filled steel deck diaphragms with an emphasis on seismic design. The parts of a steel deck diaphragm will be introduced along with the typical limit states. Concepts related to the seismic design of diaphragms will be presented and then application to steel deck diaphragms will be described.
