DESCRIPTION:The 2022 editions of AISC Specification for Structural Steel Buildings (ANSI/AISC 360-22) and the Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Buildings (ANSI/AISC 341-22) represent the latest in structural steel design and construction. This presentation will cover the latest updates\, including the exciting addition of concrete-filled coupled composite plate shear walls to both standards. Other major additions to the Specification include clarification on what to include in structural design documents; a new appendix on filled high-strength composite members; and a major expansion of the appendix on structural design for fire conditions. The Seismic Provisions now include an appendix on nonlinear response history analysis.
