This webinar presents information related to the use of Grade 80 and Grade 100 steel reinforcement in the 2019 edition of ACI 318 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete. Numerous revisions have been made in ACI 318-19 to incorporate the use of high-strength reinforcement\, and this webinar covers new and updated requirements for the following: \n\nTypes of nonprestressed reinforcing bars\nDevelopment and splice lengths\nStructural members\, including two-way slabs\, beams\, columns\, walls\, diaphragms\, and foundations\nLimits on concrete compressive strength\nStrength reduction factors\n\nBenefits related to the use of Grade 80 and Grade 100 reinforcing bars are also included.
