World Standards Week 2020 (Virtual)
October 19, 2020 - October 23, 2020
World Standards Week 2020 will be held virtually October 19–23.
In the interest of public health and safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic, ANSI has transitioned World Standards Week (WSW) 2020 to a series of virtual events. Scheduled for October 19-23, 2020, the virtual meetings will include ANSI’s member forums, policy advisory groups, and the Annual Business Meeting. The full schedule is below.
Other events, including ANSI’s Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony, will move to WSW 2021, scheduled for October 25-29, 2021, in Washington DC, when people can come together in person more safely. The full schedule of events for WSW 2021 can be found below.
ANSI’s World Standards Week (WSW) is the standardization community’s premier annual gathering, with multiple conferences, committee meetings, and special events designed to inspire open dialogue about standardization and conformity assessment.
Nearly 400 individuals attend WSW each year, representing industry, government, standards developing organizations, trade associations, consumer groups, academia, and more.
ANSI’s Leadership and Service Awards recognize the dedication, and vision of individuals who contribute to and participate in the U.S. and global voluntary standards-setting and conformity assessment activities [see the 2019 winners here].
