The Jamaica National Building Code is the responsibility of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica and consists of the 2009 International Codes with supplements. The Jamaica National Building Code is not currently available online but can be obtained by contacting the BSJ.

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica was involved in the development of the CARICOM Regional Energy Efficiency Building Code (CREEBC), which is based on the International Energy Conservation Code. The CREEBC is in the process of being adopted and implemented in the country.
