The draft of ICC 600 is available for public comment through June 1, 2026.
The International Code Council (ICC) announced the opening of a 45-day review period for the update of ICC 600 – Standard for Residential Construction in High-Wind Regions. The Multi-Hazard Resiliency for Residential Construction Committee (IS-MHRRC) has completed the draft revisions to the next edition of ICC 600, and the draft has been posted in the documents folder for the formal 45-day ANSI public review period.
The goal of the update is to revise the standard in coordination with revisions to the wind provisions included in ASCE 7-22.
The draft of ICC 600 is available for public comment through June 1, 2026. The review notice also appeared in the April 7, 2026, edition of ANSI Standards Action.
The draft of the ICC 600 standard is available under the “documents” link on the IS-MHRRC committee page, under the “Resources > Drafts for Public Comment >600” folder.
