About the Author
Reuben Saltzman is a second-generation home inspector with a passion for his work. He grew up remodeling homes and learning about carpentry since he was old enough to hold a hammer. He worked for Structure Tech since it was purchased in 1997 and is now the owner and president of the company. Saltzman always thought he'd be a teacher when he grew up because he loves sharing his knowledge with others. In a sense, that's a lot of what home inspections are about, so he truly does what he loves. While he no longer does home inspections, he teaches continuing education classes to real estate agents throughout the Twin Cities and teaches home inspectors all over the country.
