Joan O’NeilThe International Code Council welcomes Joan O’Neil as its new chief knowledge officer. In her new role, O’Neil will help the Code Council enhance its digital transformation by creating an enterprise-wide digital strategy for products and services.

O’Neil brings extensive experience in leading professional learning and educational technology (EdTech) solution businesses. In her role as chief knowledge officer, O’Neil will be responsible for strategy, planning and development of the association’s knowledge infrastructure and products that meet the needs of Code Council members and customers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Joan to the Code Council family,” said Code Council Chief Executive Officer Dominic Sims, CBO. “I am impressed by the experience and skills she brings to this executive position. With her help, we will continue to elevate our digital products and services to better serve our members and the building safety community.”

O’Neil has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications and theater arts from Saint Joseph’s College. She earned a Finance for Executives Certificate from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and is the recipient of the Wiley President’s Award for performance and leadership.
