John Belcik Elected to American National Standards Institute Board of Directors

John Belcik, CEO, International Code Council, has been elected to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large beginning January 2026.
Belcik will serve in a strategic leadership role, contributing to ANSI’s governance over a three-year term, helping shape standards and conformity assessments to develop markets, drive innovation and gain international competitive advantages.
The ANSI Board is comprised of a distinguished group of organizations, including the National Science Foundation, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI), the National Institute of Standards and Technology, U.S. Food and Drug Administration and more.
ANSI is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance both the global competitiveness of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life by promoting and facilitating voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems and safeguarding their integrity. Its membership is comprised of businesses, professional societies and trade associations, standards developers, government agencies and consumer and labor organizations.
