S. K. Ghosh Associates Announces Leadership Transition

The International Code Council (ICC) is pleased to announce an important leadership transition at S. K. Ghosh Associates (SKGA). 

Dr. S. K. Ghosh, founder and President of SKGA, will be stepping into the role of President Emeritus. Dr. Ghosh’s decades of influence on structural and seismic design, along with his extensive service on national technical committees and contributions to building codes around the world, have shaped both the profession and the organization. His guidance will continue to be invaluable as he remains actively engaged in SKGA’s technical work. 

At the same time, we are excited to share that Dr. Jared E. Brewe, formerly the organization’s Vice President, will be assuming the role of President of SKGA. Dr. Brewe brings deep expertise in ICC structural codes and standards, along with leadership experience from his prior role as Vice President of Technical Activities at the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute. His background in forensic engineering, structural rehabilitation and committee leadership across ACI, ASTM, AWS, BSSC and SEI positions him well to lead SKGA into its next chapter.
