Claim free training from ICC

It’s hard to think of a more important aspect of building safety than training and development. Continuing education helps code professionals stay current with the latest developments, skills and new technologies required in their fields and helps shape the future direction of their careers. It increases qualifications and income, improves confidence and discipline, and widens social networks.

Did you know that all International Code Council chapters are entitled to one free day — or two half days — of training on an annual basis that qualifies for ICC continuing education units (CEUs)? That’s right! You can get a free training day or two half days of training from the Code Council, or receive a voucher applicable towards training (valued up to $1,200) from more than 400 ICC Preferred Providers!

The Code Council continues its commitment to providing members with quality training and educational options with the enhanced Chapter Education Benefit. If a chapter is in good standing and submitted a 2018 Annual Report, it is entitled to a Chapter Education Benefit Day. This is an invaluable opportunity to select a topic, request an instructor and schedule an event date for a single day or two half days of training at your location!

To ensure the availability of an event date, please schedule the event at least 60 days in advance with the ICC Learning Center. While requests for specific instructors are considered, they are not guaranteed. The earlier a request is submitted, the better chance the Learning Center team will have at securing availability!

To find out more information about your Chapter’s eligibility contact ICC Member Services Vice President Karla Higgs at 888-ICC-SAFE (888-422-7233), ext. 5268, or email learn@iccsafe.org. Start planning your Chapter Education Benefit day today!
