2027 International Codes Group B Code Change Proposals Available for Viewing
The code change proposals for Group B codes will be viewable on cdpACCESS by the end of February 2025.
Under the International Code Council’s new code development process for the 2027 International Codes® (I-Codes), the public comment deadline for Group A codes comes prior to the Group B code hearings.
As shown on the 2024-2026 code development schedule, the deadline for public comments submitted through cdpACCESS for Group A codes is March 14, 2025, at 11:59 pm PT.
For Group A code change proposals to be open for public comment during this period, a comment would have required an action by the Code Development Committee at the Committee Action Hearings #2 held this past October.
The code change proposals for Group B codes will be viewable on cdpACCESS by the end of February 2025. Please note that Group B code change proposals will not be finalized until the monograph is published with a tentative date of March 13, 2025, and are subject to further revisions and formatting.
