ICC Announces Public Review Period for Spray-Applied Polyurethane Foam Plastic Insulation Standard
The draft of ICC 1100 is available for public comment through March 30, 2026.
The International Code Council (ICC) announced the opening of a 45-day review period for ICC 1100 – Standard for Spray-applied Polyurethane Foam Plastic. The IS-FPI committee has completed the revisions to the next edition of ICC 1100, and the draft has been posted in the documents folder for the formal 45-day ANSI public review period.
The goal of the standard is to develop a performance standard based upon existing ICC-ES Acceptance Criteria and related documents for spray-applied foam plastic insulation for use by industry and inclusion in construction codes.
The draft of ICC 1100 is available for public comment through March 30, 2026. The review notice will also appear in the Feb. 13, 2026 edition of ANSI Standards Action.
Public comments may be submitted through ICC’s online submittal portal.
