Notice of 2025 Committee Action Hearing #2 Schedule

The International Code Council has released the schedule for the 2025 Committee Action Hearing #2 (CAH #2) for Group B International Codes® (I-Codes).

The CAH will begin on October 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET, and will be held exclusively in–person, with a view-only online stream available for remote observers.

• Location: In-person attendance only; online viewing option available
• Committee Schedules: Subject to progress and may be adjusted as required

The official code change hearing agenda will be published by September 10, 2025, and will be accessible from the Code Development Committee page. Participants are encouraged to review the agenda and the Committee Responsibility Matrix for detailed information on code development committees and their respective scopes, including:

• IBC-G: International Building Code®—General 
• IBC-S: International Building Code®—Structural 
• IEBC: International Existing Building Code® 
• IPM/ZC: International Property Maintenance and Zoning Code® 
• IgCC: International Green Construction Code® (Chapter 1) is addressed by the ADMIN committee 
• IRC-B: Residential Code®—Building 

All interested parties are encouraged to consult the full schedule and agenda as posted by the Code Council for the most accurate and current information. Adjustments to committee start times may occur based on hearing progress, at the discretion of the committee chair.
