As part of its commitment to green and sustainable safety concepts, the Code Council is excited to present a new set of green codes under its initiative entitled "IgCC: Safe and Sustainable by the Book." This initiative includes the ASHRAE Standard 189.1 as a jurisdictional requirement option, and the collaboration of the Council's closest allies and pre-eminent thought leaders in green building, as well as input from our members and the general public. We are committed to developing an enforceable, useable, adoptable and adaptable code that will continue our long tradition of international code guidance.
