Industry Advisory Committee (IAC)
The Industry Advisory Committee is an industry-lead committee of over 90 organizations charged with the following:
- Advising the Code Council Board of Directors on matters that will affect the working relationship or coordination of efforts of the Council and industry, federal agencies and standards writing organizations.
- Advising the Code Council of methods to implement and improve the Codes and other documents and services provided by the ICC.
- Advising the Code Council as to policies and programs to enhance the codes, administration and enforcement profession.
- It is governed by ICC CP 06-03
The IAC typically has a spring and fall meeting.

26.04.18 | ICC CP 06 for the Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) Updated to Include ICC Corporate Members
The ICC Board of Directors approved updates to the CP-06 IAC to now include ICC Corporate Members as members of the IAC. The IAC serves as an advisory committee to the ICC and the ICC Board of Directors.
If your organizations is a corporate member your organization can have one primary voting member and one alternate. Both primary and alternates must fill out an application (see the "Apply" tab and follow the "Committee & Council Applications" button.)
